Taking to the Goderich Skies

The Sky Harbour Modelers of Goderich hosted a zone fly event on August 13th and 14th, 2016. Unfortunately it was rained out on Saturday, but Sunday was filled with an exciting air show along with a candy drop for the kids. Here Frank Klenk, South Western Ontario Zone Director of the Model Aeronautics Association Of Canada (MAAC) and Darryl Carpenter, President of the Sky Harbour Modelers Club are shown presenting a cheque for $1,000 to Lion Gary Blenkhorn, President of the Goderich Lions Club to go toward the Goderich Lions Camp Klahanie Revitalization Project. The funds were raised from the parking toll and raffles during the event.
